Bubbles are a child's favorite pastime, and honestly they are still extremely important to me. I can't even estimate the number of hours I have spent blowing bubbles outside with my three kids. This is actually the second bubble I have painted in vibrant rainbow colors. The first bubble I began in alcohol marker while sitting in a hospital bed after an intense surgery on my broken leg, wishing for happier days. That bubble is very important to me, because it got me back into art after more than a decade, and as I have collected a psychedelic palette of rainbow watercolors I have been subconsciously planning my next bubble. I had so much fun painting this one larger than life in bold technicolor with crazy swirly detail.
